Comment Sections Selections

I'm considering adding comments to the blog. I also don't want to regret it.
I've always been cagey about adding comment sections because of past experiences and, when I was on Wordpress, possibly due to it enabling comments on just about everything by default, I was constantly getting bot spam to the point that I had to install plugins just to remove comment sections.
Anyways. The official Comments plugin for Grav hasn't been updated for over four years (September 10th 2020), and includes a "things still missing" section that has things that seem like they really shouldn't be missing:
- Allow to delete comments from the Admin Plugin
- Ability to see all comments of a page in the Admin Plugin
- Ability to reply to a comment from the Admin Plugin
- Auto-fill the comment form when a user is logged in
There's no mention of anti-spam measure or holding or moderating comments - seems like, at least from a glance, that would have to be done manually by going in and removing individual comments from the page structure. Cowabummer, dude.
I'm probably gonna rely on figuring out how to get Disqus added if I go with adding comment sections to blogs.
